Pilates, Wrestling, and Snoozing

Every time I try to do Pilates, Luke takes over the mat and climbs all over me. Its funny and annoying at the same time. Its really funny when the boys try to do what the lady on the DVD is doing. This just reminds how much I need to get back to the gym so I don't have to deal with all this nonsense.

Luke has always been the non-transferable baby (when sleeping in the car, never transfers to the crib). Well yesterday he fell asleep in the car at 10:30am and was out, I sat him on the couch thinking he would pop up like he always does, and he stayed exactly how I placed him.

This lovely video is of the boys wrestling, Charlie is very good with Luke and lets him have all the blows, although I'm sure that will all be changing real soon as Luke gets bigger. It was going well until Luke took a knee in the face.

As we all know, Charlie is obsessed with Batman and other superheroes and villains. He has quite a collection these days. For some reason he thinks we need to go to the toy store everyday to get a new one that he is missing. Here are a few pictures of his "collection," minus a few that were upstairs or still in the playroom. He likes to lay them all out in his own particular order. He puts them in the office and shuts the door so Luke doesn't destroy it....that is very bad when Luke gets to the collection, very very bad. He puts the bad guys on the bottom row, then the good guys, then the big guys, then the vehicles and tools, with the Batcave ending up on top. Its so cute to see him take pride in his collection.

Here is a funny video of Luke doing a weird dance, he is so funny sometimes. I wish I would have got more of it, but it was hilarious.

Happy Birthday to Me!

For my Birthday, will got me some beautiful flowers and a delicious cake from Cold Stone Creamery. It was chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, and peanut butter cups...the man knows me too well! And it was shaped like a heart, an added bonus.Charlie put the candles on (as you can tell). They sang Happy Birthday. Luke waited very patiently for his piece.

The cake was delicious! Thanks for a geat birthday boys!!

Easter

On Easter morning the boys woke up to Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny left for them. They were filled with a few of their favorite things. Charlie got a watering can, a robot claw, some batman sunglasses, an Iron Man paper airplane book, and an m&m egg. Lukas got a Toy story soldier, some Mickey Mouse characters, Elmo sunglasses, and a candy egg too. We had a busy day with visits to Grandma's and after that to Grandpa's.We started the day with a hunt at out house. The Easter Bunny did a great job at hiding the eggs.

Charlie found his Golden Egg.

Then we went to Grandma's for some yummy pancakes and another Easter Egg Hunt.

Luke did much better this time around. He knew exactly what to do, I was really impressed.

This is my favorite picture of the day. Lukas was going into all the plants at Grandma's doing this, it was so funny.

This is Luke's way of saying he wants to play hide and seek.

I tried to get a cute picture of the boys together but it just wasn't happening.

Then at Grandpa's we had another hunt, by this time the boys were pros.

It turned out to be a beautiful day, we all had fun, and slept very well that night!
