Pumpkin Picking

Our annual pumpkin hunt turned out to be a perfect fall day. The boys were excited to get to the pumpkin patch. They were on a quest for the perfect pumpkins.

Charlie was the best at spotting some good ones.

It was difficult for him to decide at times.

Luke, on the other hand, loved every pumpkin he touched.

Until he realized there were rocks mixed in with the pumpkins.

so he decided to have a seat and sift through some of the best rocks he could find.

Next we headed into a corn maze.

I'm not really sure how much longer Will is going to be able to do that, the boys are getting huge! It does make a perfect picture of my 3 best boys though.

Charlie never wants to take a picture with me, at this point I think he really just wanted to get through the maze.

We reached a fork in the path, so Charlie had to make a serious decision as to which way to go.

He chose trusty left.

This was another one of many forks in the road.

We managed to make it out, and then back through again to the start of the maze. We have our pumpkins, bought our candy for the trick or treaters, and have the boys costumes...we are officially ready for Halloween!

Charlie's First Field Trip

Charlie had his first field trip on Friday. We went to the pumpkin patch to go pumpkin picking. It was great because a parent was allowed to go with them. Charlie was such a good boy, and had a blast with his new best friend, Dominick. You will see in the pictures that the two of them are inseparable. Dominick and Charlie Hammin' it up

Charlie has been really into taking pictures lately, and I have to say he does a pretty good job. He took this random shot of Luke.

Although Charlie has his own camera, I think he knows its a "kid camera" because he won't use it anymore (sorry grandma). He says "its broken" which is not true, but a fine excuse. The kid is moving up in the world.
