Pumpkin Picking with Nana and Papa

Here is Charlie waiting for Nana and Papa to come. When we went pumpkin picking the boys were lucky that there was a bouncy house there. Also, lucky for pony rides.
I had to stay with Luke. He is a wild cowboy and would have gotten a little Buffalo Bill on us.
Charlie is a pro, he's been on many pony rides.
We went on a Hay ride, this ride was great because it took us around the perimeter of the whole pumpkin patch and we got to see where all the good pumpkins were before we hit the patch.
Heading out to the patch.
Luke maneuvering his way through all the rough terrain.
Charlie was excellent at picking the good pumpkins.
Some were a little too heavy for him.
This was a really heavy one!
Lukas enjoyed the dirt...figures
The boys got a ride in the wheel barrow with the pumpkins, they were pooped. We made Will caryy all those pumpkins in his arms for a short distance so we could get them all for $25. hehehe
Thanks Nana and Papa for having a great day with us!

Charlie's field trip to Benner's Farm

We had a great time on this trip to the farm, it was such a beautiful day and Charlie was such a good boy the whole time. Here are Charlie, and a few of his classmates waiting for the trip to begin. feeding goats
Getting ready to feed chickens
Going on a Hay ride.
unfortunately the Hay ride was scary. There were ghosts and goblins scattered throughout the woods. Poor Charlie was so nervous, he actually sat there with his eyes closed until we were clear of the scary stuff. Thank you to Grandma for having a long conversation with him about it :)
This guy is over 1,000 lbs. He was huge! By far the biggest pig I have ever seen.
Feeding more goats
Charlie and his buddy Brodie with their pumpkins they picked.
Me and Charlie. (I'm not sure what he is doing...he looks like he has to go to the bathroom)

Luke's Birthday Parties

Boy, were we busy for Lukas' birthday! We had so much fun, I wish we could have a party everyday! On his actual birthday he recieved all of his Toy Story presents from us and his new favorite movie, The Cat in the Hat. This is his new best friend, Woody. He already has a few Woody's but not one this big and cozy.
He gave him lots of kisses.
He also got the slinky dog from the movie.
Here he is getting The Cat in the Hat.
Later that day "Pa" came over with all the kids and Luke got some more prizes.
The kids were all eager to help Luke with his gifts.
Unfortunately I had higher hopes for my cake but it was so humid, the frosting was melting off. So I didn't even bother going crazy with the decorations. It was still very yummy though!
Luke was so happy to blow out his candles, he blew them out and started clapping before we could finish the song.
The next day Omma and Oppa came with more prizes.
And so did Grandma.
and little bit after that so did Uncle Bob. When he was done with those, he looked out the window to see if anyone else was coming.
Then we had our second round of the birthday song, this time with cupcakes and they were even yummier than the cake from the night before!
Luke was a happy 2 year old!
Now we are getting ready for Halloween and the fall. Charlie and Luke put on their old costumes, Luke doesn't quite fit into Charlie's old Buzz lightyear costume yet, but he doesn't care. I got an early start on the costumes this year. Charlie will be Spiderman, it is very cute, it looks like he has muscles. And Lukas will be Woody, he looks so cute with the big hat on.
I had to hide the costumes so they don't destroy them before Halloween. Now we are getting ready for Charlie's field trip to the farm and our vist from Nana and Papa :)
