NYC, Mr.Panda, and Baby Holly

On Sunday, we went into the city. We went to Central Park and played on the rocks and also went to the Central Park Zoo.  Charlie loves the city.

Also, this past weekend, Charlie was in charge of Mr. Panda. He is the classroom's stuffed animal that gets to visit a different child's home each weekend. I didn't think Charlie would care much for Mr. Panda because in all of Charlie's life he has never looked twice at a stuffed animal and could always care less. Boy was I wrong! Mr. Panda never left his side and went with him everywhere and did everything with him. He even came with us to the city, although we left him in the car....what if we lost him?!  Charlie was very very sad on Sunday night when he knew he had to give him back, and I mean very very sad.  Charlie was cheered up when he was reassured that Mr. Panda would be back to visit us when Lukas gets a turn in Ms. Dianne's class in 2 years. Here are some pictures of Mr.Panda playing on the trucks and playing in the Bamboo at Daddy's work.

More Excitement! My friend Michelle (aka Brodie's Mom) just had a baby. Charlie loved her. We had some friends over last week to play and all Charlie wanted to do was hold baby Holly. Lukas did a good job at holding her too, but he only wanted to hold her because Charlie wanted to, otherwise he could've cared less about the baby. Here are a couple of pictures of Charlie and Lukas with Baby Holly (3 weeks old).

Now we are preparing for Charlie's birthday on Friday. I can't believe he will be 5! He also starts his second season of soccer on Saturday. We have a busy weekend coming up!

Pet Expo

Last weekend we went to the Pet Expo with our friends Kristi and Matt and their daughters Parker and Quinn. The kids had a lot of fun. There were so many dogs and cats there. There were a lot of dogs roaming around to be adopted, it was so tempting and I'm sure if Daddy wasn't with us we may have come home with one. Lukas was in love with all of the dogs until one of the puppies jumped up on him and scratched his face, then he said they were scary.Such a scaredy cat! Charlie and Parker were so lucky because they got picked to be in one of the dog shows. They were able to hold a hula hoop while the dog ran through. There is a little video at the end.
