Soccer and Legos

Charlie is back in soccer and he is doing so much better this year. The difference is amazing from 4 to 5 years old! This year he actually is running after the ball with intent to kick it, yay!
Lukas wants to be just like his big brother including wearing the soccer jersey and the cleats. Lucky for us, Charlie is on a black team again this year so we have his old one from last year Luke uses.

Here are some silly shots of Luke and his tattered lovey that he won't give up.

Charlie building one of his lego birthday presents. He built all of them by himself.

This is his collection, and yes he built them all of these with the exception of a little help with the police station and the city corner, but only because he wanted me to build with him. Its more fun that way!

And they keep coming.....

Charlie's Birthday

For Charlie's birthday I brought cupcakes to his school. I found this candy store that sells candy that looks just like the lego bricks, it was a surprise for Charlie and he loved it.

This was the cake I made for his birthday that night.

On the Tuesday after Charlie's birthday he picked a few friends to join him for open play at Hop N' Bop and Pizza afterwards. It was his little kid birthday party. Instead of doing another cake and favors, I made these really yummy cake pops. I tried to shape them into Lego heads too. I thought they came out really cute!

Happy Birthday Charlie!
