Christmas Day

Santa came and delivered. he brought Charlie the Batcave that he couldn't live without, as well as an ocean boat, a firehouse and many other cool superhero and batman toys. Lukas was very happy to get some Elmo and Yo Gabba Gabba stuff. Santa made stops at Grandpa's and Grandma's houses too so the boys have a lot to entertain themselves with throughout the winter. The ornament Charlie made at Pre-school.
Luke's new bouncy turtle that he loves!
I'm not sure what this look means.
Or this one, but I don't want to find out.
Opening prizes at Grandma's.

The unveiling of the Batcave!

Charlie's Holiday Show

Here are some pictures of Charlie's holiday show. He kept telling me he didn't want to do it, so I am surprised he was even up there. He stood with his hands in his pockets most of the time and did a lot of nervous rolling of his shirt, but I did manage to get some video of him participating a little. There was also a visit from Santa, which he was devastated about and ended up in the back of the room with me forthe rest of the show.

Blizzard

Last night we got home from Will's Christmas party in the midst of a full blown blizzard. This is what it looked like from our front door. It was crazy, the snow was blowing horizontally at times.
We got slammed with snow! This is what it looked like this morning.
This is the side of the house, you can't even see the retaining wall.
A view out the back door to the backyard.
This picture is blurry because I took it from the inside of the boy's playroom, but there is about 2 ft. of snow on our patio table.
This is our front yard, still no sign of the wall.
For obvious reasons, there are no cars traveling up and down our hill today.
Here is little Wookie monster all bundled up, he fell over and was stuck there. So me being the wonderful, kind mother I am, thought I would take a picture instead of helping him. He didn't mind, when he saw me laughing, he laughed too.
His first real experience in the snow, it was a love-hate thing.
Charlie was very busy helping Dad dig out the driveway.
Lukas was not very helpful.
I love our house buried in snow! Probably because I'm usually not the one doing all the digging...he he he.
Busy, busy, busy.
Luke took a face plant in the snow.
Would've been a really cute picture without the pacifier, but he's getting molars so he gets what he wants right now :)
Little Charlie doing such a big job. He loves this stuff, and really is a big help. And I'm not just saying that, he really does a good job.
Another stumble.
The end of shoveling, yey!
