Halloween (a.k.a. Torture Charlie Day)

Like most 1 and half year olds Charlie didn't want to wear his costume but after a few animal crackers and some kisses from Grandma, he was able to deal with it. He had M&Ms for the first time and then he was really digging it. Charlie was more excited about seeing everyone's dogs than getting candy, he was trying to get into everyone's house to play with the dogs, so when it was time to move on, we had to tell him we were going to look for more dogs. He's a trip! He was a Monkey by the way, he just refused to wear the hood. Back at home base

Rainy day

Today was a rainy day so we had to do a little cleaning and later had our friends over to play.
Charlie is excellent at vacuuming! Later, my new mom friend/neighbor, Wendy came over with the Twins, Greta and Jack! Charlie doesn't mess around he knows a fine lady when he sees one. Maile watch out! Greta is working on stealing your man. Charlie the chick magnet, was putting the moves on Greta, wooing her with sweet nothings and kisses! Wahsamata?! You got a boo boo - How about a kiss to make you feel better!

Halloween Party

The Little Gym had a Halloween party on Sunday so we thought we'd check it out and try out Charlie's monkey costume. Charlie hated wearing his costume and was totally pissed at me. He didn't actually calm down until he saw his teacher. We only lasted at the party for about 15 minutes, so we aren't sure how Trick or Treating is going to work out this year. We shall see.... This has been his thing of the week, building really tall towers.

Pumpkin Picking

It's time to get ready for Halloween, so we went pumpkin picking on Sunday. We found a good pumpkin patch with really big ones. Charlie only picked lumpy, crooked, lop-sided pumkins. You can't take him
anywhere, sheesh!

See I was very into it, must find perfect pumpkins.

I'm not sure who is bigger here.

Charlie got the loot, and was ready to go!

Now stop laughing!! Charlie wanted to ride the horse but wouldn't go on without me, so what am I supposed to do? We tried to race the other little girl but the guy wasn't having it, loser. and yes I do have crazy, floppy, cowgirl hair, but it was windy and unfortunately I wasn't able to look fashionable on the horse.

It was fun!
