Charlie has been complaining his legs hurt him today and I couldn't figure out why. I realized its from playing "Red Light, Green Light" in the pool. He ran in the water across the pool probably 10 times....poor kid got his first major workout.

Swimming

This was Charlie's last day of swimming lessons. They went down to the kiddie pool and played games the whole time.

Beach

Another beautiful beach day!

Bowling

I signed the kids up for the "Kids Bowl Free" program at the bowling alley and we had our first go at it tis past week. Charlie has been bowling once before for a birthday party, but this was Luke's first time and he absolutely loved it! They both love it, but it was so funny to watch Lukas get so excited. We'll definitely be doing it again this week.

Applesauce Luke

This is what happens when you leave Luke alone with applesauce for a minute.
Look at how huge he looks in this picure, he looks 3!
This is a mad Lukas who was told he couldn't have anymore snacks :(

Charlie's first day of swimming lessons

This was Charlie's first day of swimming lessons. He was so excited, but when we got there, he was a little bashful and nervous. The first day was the only day I was allowed to stay in the pool area, and now all the parents have to go away behind the fence where the kids can't see us. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go near the pool either so I didn't get many pictures. His lessons are in one of the kiddie pools that is only 3 feet deep. He is able to touch the bottom and very comfortable in the pool. He loves going to swimming and asks me why it isn't longer. It's a good thing we go everyday, but I don't know what we'll do when the 3 weeks are up!

4th of July

On the 4th of July we spent the day at the beach out in the Hamptons. We went to our favorite spot.
The boys watched some fireworks from our driveway.
Then on Monday we went to the parade in Port Jefferson Village. It was way too hot and we didn't last very long there.
