Fun in the Snow

We had a big blizzard the day after Christmas, so on Monday...we played! We got about a 16 inches of snow. We did some sleigh riding at Grandma's which was soooo much fun, especially since Auntie Kate was still in town and able to play with us!

On Tuesday we packed up the snow on our hill on the side of our house which worked out pretty good , we didn't get as far as we did at Grandma's or as fast but it was still a lot of fun especially since my friend Kristi brought Parker and Quinn over along with DD (Danielle, but the kids call her DD, who is Kristi's sister and Luke's, I mean Bobby's girlfriend). Luke has a big ol' crush on DD.
Here are some awesome videos of us playing in the snow. We LOVE the snow!!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year (and every year)! We did our usual Christmas Eve at Grandpa's and Christmas Day at Grandma's. The boys got some great gifts and have been very busy all week long. Charlie got the Lego Police Station from Santa, and Luke got an Easel. Everything Charlie got was Lego related, including a lego watch, lego DS games, Lego PJ's, and a Lego Book.....the kid is obsessed with Legos. But we can't complain because he is really good at building them and rarely needs help. Lukas loves to color so he got a few things that are artsy, and also a couple of his own legos, mainly in hopes of keeping him away from Charlie's legos. Will got Charlie his very own real tool set, something he can literally have forever. Charlie was very excited about that, and so was Will :) We had a great holiday and missed our family in Hawaii very much.

 Luke on his new laptop.

 Lego Magikus game...a huge hit!
Luke's new Spiderman jammies that he insisted on wearing.
 More presents at Grandma's

New Big Wheels for the boys from Grandma.

Holiday Festivities

We've been busy! We've been going to birthday parties, and decorating trees, looking at lights, making cookies, decorating cookies, and simply waiting for Santa is also a lot of work.  Auntie Kate is in town, and she came over to help us make cookies and decorate our gingerbread men.

Charlie had a holiday party at school where they did some singing, decorated a gingerbread man, and had a cookie exchange (which meant a ton of cookies for lunch - yey).

Here are some of his school buddies.
All the kids got to pick a book out of the grab bag as their gifts.
And here are a couple of the songs they sang :)
I wish I could find a way for the videos to be less blurry when I upload!

Our Annual Visit to See Santa

We made the trip to see Santa right before Thanksgiving. This year Charlie was very comfortable with Santa and spent a very long time discussing all the things on his list. It was a good thing we went early and there weren't any other kids in line, because he made sure he let him know all of it. Lukas wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. Santa was adorable! Since then Charlie has seen a couple of other Santas around and is very aware that each one looks different. He hasn't questioned why they look different, and I'm hoping he doesn't.
Anyway, here are a few cute pictures of the boys. Christmas cards should be arriving soon!
