He's 2!!

Happy Birthday Charlie!!
Today Charlie is 2, although we will be having the real party on Sunday, we had a mini celebration today....
We went to grandma's and got cracking on some gifts He's been into trains lately so he got a few of those He also got a chainsaw, a leaf blower and a tricycle, we are getting prepared for warm weather and can't wait to be outside! I thought this picture was so funny, how he was using his foot to hold the box. After grandma's we stopped off at the pet store and got a pet fish, we named him "shark bait" and then we went to the bakery to get 3 cupcakes because I'm not baking twice this week and because it's someone's special day he got to pick out a giant m&m cookie - I helped him with that :)

St. Patrick's Day Parade!

Charlie and I got to march in the St. Patrrick's Day Parade with our friends from The Little Gym. He sat in his wagon like a king the whole time, he didn't move, didn't crack a smile, didn't wave, he literally just sat in his wagon and let me pull him the whole time. The kids wore Little Gym t-shirts so we didn't look like a bunch of randoms in the parade, even though we kind of did, but it was fun anyway. He was very content to sit back and take all the scenery in.

This picture is funny because it looks like we were leading the parade, but it was just that it was the end of the parade and I was tired and we were slacking.

There goes the prince!

Time to enjoy the rest of the parade (somebody wanted to see the fire engines).

stretching his legs after that relaxing ride down main street I think I hear the fire engines.... No Mom! I don't want to pose for a picture now, the engines are coming!!! This is as good as it gets for mom and son pics these days.

Snow!!

We had some snow about a week or 2 ago, it was a lot of fun. We made a snowman and Charlie did a lot of digging and moving of snow with his dump truck. Will was busy plowing so he didn't get to play in it with us. Charlie was obsessed with the snowman over the next few days. He was very concerned when it started to melt and was a little distraught when he woke up one morning to find the carrot laying in the front yard. I'm not sure he understands the whole sun melting the snow process but he's over it now. I think Charlie is going through a major growth spurt because he is eating us out of house and home. In the past week he has doubled his intake of food. I feel like I am feeding him all day long and we are always in the kitchen, he eats more than I do. Yikes!! I can only imagine what the teenage years are gong to be like.
